ICS telecom can not only deal with fixed and nomadic WiMax networks, that have heavily being tested and deployed all over the world, but it also provides all dedicated planning features for mobile WiMAX! Since the early ratification of the 802.16e standard by IEEE, WiMAX becomes eventually mobile, enabling roaming between cells.
A very easy to use workflow for the design of WiMAX networks has been built with ICS telecom and is further described in three parts :
- How the coverage model can help in dimensioning a WiMax network.
- How the capacity model will ensure that the WiMAX BS won't be overloaded due to the traffic requests of the CPEs or Mobile Units.
- How the spectrum model will minimize the interference areas, and update the achievable traffic in the designed WiMAX network.
