ATDI joins the WiMAX Forum. The corporation welcomes ATDI as a member.

The WiMAX Forum is an industry-led, non-profit corporation formed to promote and certify compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless products to deliver economical broadband data, voice and video services to both residential and business customers.
The WiMAX Forum accelerates the development of new products using the IEEE 802.16 and ETSI HiperMAN wireless MAN specifications. The forum has been developing fast especially in the last year when it defined mid-2005 as the milestone for launching the WiMAX Forum Certified program. The different WiMAX profiles have been completed, Business Cases have been defined and first equipments are available.
ATDI has always spearheaded the simulation and planning of BWA networks, and has a wide experience in implementing new technologies in its product line. The active collaboration with the WiMAX Forum was the natural following step in the process of continuous innovation. ATDI brings the methodology and the software tools necessaries for dimensioning, planning and optimizing WiMAX network. It can be done at every stage of the network roll-out, for all kind of environment (rural areas last mile connection, metropolitan area networks) and all type of application (fixed, nomadic or mobile access). This is certainly the main contribution to the ideas and knowledge gathered by the WiMAX Forum.
