PTS (Post- och telestyrelsen) commissioned ATDI to provide a coherent spectrum management system to catalogue their national spectrum and provide for customer radio licenses. ATDI has now completed stage one of the project meaning the system is now in production.

This opening stage has encompassed a national frequency plan and PTS’s first spectrum (block) licensing database, an asset that will allow PTS to assign frequencies and manage the spectrum and its financial elements all in one place.

Future stages will deal with license management and technical analysis for broadcast, fixed and land mobile services, all via a structured workflow.

ATDI LTD managing director Peter Paul comments: “We have been working closely with many regulators and we have come to understand their very specific set of needs and challenges. It is particularly gratifying to be able to add PTS to the organizations who we have helped with those challenges.”
